As part of the ongoing work within the LAIQA project, the Quantum Technology Laboratories (QTLabs) team recently visited TNO to jointly test QTLabs’ space-suitable entangled photon-pair source in the laboratory.
The teams tested the source and performed preliminary measurements ahead of its planned integration, in the coming weeks, into a free-space optical (FSO) link established by TNO in the Netherlands.
A great example of collaboration between project partners as LAIQA continues progressing towards the demonstration and validation of its space-based quantum communication technologies.
